Stack

An ordered collection of surfaces with one focus surface. A stack is a presentation organizer; it does not own the surfaces it contains.

Allowed:

• stack
• surface stack
• carry stack
• stack order
• focus surface
• neighbor surface

Forbidden:

• tab set
• page list
• sidebar pages
• menu screens

Notes:

• A stack preserves surface order and focus.
• Surfaces may leave a stack and become docked, detached, shared, or field-anchored without changing identity.
• Runtimes choose how to render stack motion.
