Find

The search and discovery service. Find owns query records, findings (search results), and heads (classifications). It is distinct from the social discovery graph.

Owns:

  • finding (a single search result)
  • findings (a result set)
  • finding head (a classification/category label for a finding)
  • finding query (a search query record)
  • find session

Allowed:

  • find service
  • finding
  • finding head
  • search results (UI prose only)

Forbidden:

  • discovery service (discovery refers to the social graph traversal, not search results)
  • search service (not its product name)
  • results (too generic without "findings" qualifier in technical context)

Notes:

  • Discovery is a social graph concept (traversal through circle memberships). Find is a search service. Do not conflate them.
  • Findings are ranked by ai_score and have a source_url and source_domain.
  • The find service is not currently surfaced in the world runtime.
