Social DM

A private one-to-one communication initiated from Social context. Social DMs belong to social.elonn.local because their meaning comes from profiles, conversations, communities, events, replies, presence, activity, circles, discovery, or relationship rules.

Allowed:

• Social DM
• DM member
• Social DM thread
• Social DM inbox

Forbidden:

• calling a Social DM a platform Message
• placing Social DMs in the member dashboard or global service launcher
• adding a third member to a Social DM thread

Notes:

• Social DMs are contextual Social behavior, not a separate platform Messages surface.
• If a private thread needs more than two members, create or use a Social community, conversation, or event instead.
• Social DMs may appear inside the Social surface, Social object detail, member/profile cards, Social notifications, activity, or the Social right rail.
